Original Characters vs. Fan charactersOriginal Characters vs. Fan characters: The submission differences that everyone should know.
When a person creates a character it could serve many different purposes. Depending on how their imagination can be, some people make up an entire new world of their own and create a whole cast of characters that go on their own adventures. However, what if a person creates a character that lives in an existing universe such as a game, comic, or anime? What if the character interacts with the protagonist of a major series? Depending on the point of view you take, you could say that it is an original character, because the artist created it, or you could join the other side of the fence in saying that since the character lives in a universe that someone else came up with, it is a fan character.
If you create a character that lives in its own world and has its own storyline, then that is an original character and would appropriately be submitted into the corresponding
